JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to join our team as a Quick Lane Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will greet our valued customers and complete the vehicle check-in process. He/she will help the Service Advisors and Technicians whenever possible and keep customers up to date on their vehicle status. The ideal candidate has some automotive or mechanical experience, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be goal driven, flexible, and able to multi-task.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets customers in a friendly manner and completes information gathering
Completes the vehicle check-in process
Creates repair orders and dispatches to technicians
Looks up parts and bills parts to repair order
Provides customers with technician feedback and reports results of vehicle check-up
Provides quotes as necessary and sells additional work on an as-needed basis
Completes check-out process and cashier duties to close out repair orders
Takes incoming phone calls and answers customer questions
Orders parts and follows up with customers to get work completed in a timely fashion
Completes open/close duties depending on schedule
Helps Service Advisors and Technicians where possible
Builds customer relationships and markets and promotes the business
Keeps open communication with the Quick Lane Manager at all times
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a personality centered around customer service and satisfaction
Must be outgoing with great communication skills
Must be dependable and on time to work
Must have a professional attitude and enthusiasm to be successful
Must be flexible and be willing to adapt to process and environment
